not nesiscarily. I wasn't dilated at all before I went into labor Friday. dilation doesn't promise Labor. things like diharrea, nausea. your mucus plug coming out, your water breaking. those are signs of labor. you could've been dilated 2 cm the last 6 weeks and labor not come. babies tend to pick their moments. I learned that Friday when I went into labor. but don't stress it. I was 39 weeks and 5 days when I went into labor. and hes my first. so just let your baby do his thang and he'll definitely make you know when he's gonna come. lol

I barely dilated my last few weeks of pregnancy. but the day I went into labor I was 2 cm which was surprising.. bc I was stuck for so long. don't worry at all. cause when you go I to Labor... you'll dilate like CRAZY! I didn't get to push. I was an emergency c section.

I wasn't ever dilated, I had a planned c-section. But with all three of my mom's pregnancies, she would never be dilated at all until she was in labor, then she would dilate very fast! I guess I would've been that way too. Don't worry mama! ☺️
