Today we went over to my SIL's and of course my husband's grandma was there. I really can't stand being around her only because she keeps trying to give me hand me downs from her son who I've never really seen but they keep leaving their baby things at my husband's grandma's so she thinks that she needs to "give" us their baby stuff. They had a girl and we are having a boy. Anyways she is telling me that she has so much stuff to give us and I'm like oh thank you that's very considerate until she tells me that she didn't actually get anything for her great Grand child she just wants to get this baby stuff out of her garage 😣 so she goes "oh there is a walker." Sorry grandma we already have a walker for our son. "Oh well they also left a car seat." Grandma we already have a car seat in mind that I'm not budging on. It's what I want and we don't want a newborn carrier car seat. "Well then what am I suppose to do with this stuff. It's just sitting in my garage and I need to get rid of it." Garage sale, salvation army, planned parenthood, or the trash...

I don't mind hand me downs but I've learned you don't take a hand me down car seat for one because you never know whether that car seat has been in a car wreck and second everything that was offered is covered in hot pink. Clearly very girly and she goes oh Well you can just paint it or just over look that colors 😠 just freaking frustrating as hell.
