Yes, when my daughter gets sick she doesn't like to eat because it's hard for her to breath. How many does she usually have in 4 hrs? And how many has she had today. You could also press on her skin and see how long it takes for the color to return if it comes back quickly she's still hydrated

When my daughter got her cold, her pediatrician said to bring her in when she started showing those signs that you just posted. I would make an appointment.

yes they can get dehydrated. when my son had the flu i had to force him to eat. the doctor told me to check the soft spot on his head if it was indented it can mean he was dehydrated & needed an iv.

not sure I think I've only changed like 4 diapers today and they weren't very full. @santistevanmommie she had an appointment last Friday they said she was fine @wisconsinmom and I think her soft spot feels the same :/@verobaby

if you aren't sure try calling the doctor's office most have a number you can call for medical questions if they don't & you see that your baby is sluggish or acting very tired or its hard to wake her up. take her to the er.

if she is dehydrated they'll have to give you an iv so you'll have to take her to the er. they take babies very seriously if you are nervous about exposing her to other people they call the babies first. at least the hospital i went to do. try calling the doctor if that makes you more comfortable. not having nornal wet diapers can be a sign of dehydration. it can get dangerous if not treated.
