@mrsmord, my country baklava is very different than Arabic or Turkish baklava .

My mother in law makes those !!!! So good I eat all of it when she makes it :) it's the best ! I guess your food is a lot like the kavkazi food

This is Turkish baklava it's more thin layers of dough added lots of pistachios
