How long does it usually take to start your period after being off the depo?

I'm gettin ready to be put on it 😔

I've gotten it twice and I was due this month but I never got it and my back started cramping like menstrual cramps and I was my bfs yesterday and I bled a little so I put something on and now I'm not bleeding whatsoever..

My boyfriends mom is making me get it, after we had a long conversation about me being against contraceptions... She said that if I don't get it, she'll be sending me back to my moms...

DO NOT get depo!! It destroyed my reproductive system

i believe depo is different for everyone i was on depo for 6 years n stopped my shot and got pregnant rt after coming off it

@journeytobaby, I don't want to get it because of that reason. If my mom brings it back up I'm gonna tell her it's the pill or none at all

Try the mirena if you can't remember to take the pill

@jgh2398, I had no problems with the pill. Got off it, and conceived my twins a couple months later :)

@i.xvi.mmxvi, my moms afraid I'll forget to take it but I'm not bad to forget to take things so I don't see a problem

@jgh2398, I just set an alarm on my phone for every night because I knew I would forget. I did that with my prenatal vitamins too 😂

@whiteowlmamma, A girl I went to school with got the depo and now she doesn't ovulate and hasn't had her period in more than a year so they're trying to figure out how to fix things. The depo is really bad for fertility, as are IUD's. After my next baby I'm not going to take birth control at all.

That's what I'm scared about.... I wanna have kids... He wants to have kids... 😔 I don't see the problem here... We're not gonna be living with them much longer anyways... @i.xvi.mmxvi
