You can still get contractions all through your pregnancy and baby move. I've been getting them since 20 something weeks and I'm 3 cm so they have to be.

Not always true. My baby does move and they are contractions. If your stomach hardens that's a contraction. Probably depends on baby.

I was told they don't due to all the pressure around them. My dr said that's a good indicator of true and false labor in true labor the baby can't move during your contractions.
