update on Xayden:

his stats are decent. HB is at 150's. his oxygen levels are in the 90's but the oxygen he's receiving is 25 percent. if we can get him to 21 percent that's gonna be huge promising progression. his respirations, however... is the issue. they're sky rocketing up in the hundreds and should be only between 30-70. if I could upload a video I'd show you exactly what he looks like when he breathes. it's very obvious to tell he's struggling with his respiratory system. and that's because he's got so much merconium gunked around his lungs when he breathed it in. so Dr. Hong let us lookn his x rays and a normal x ray of a baby. Xayden's x ray from today looks about 45 times better than what the x rays looked like the night he born and brought into the NICU. he still has merconium surrounding his lungs. but it's clearing out slowly. ideally we will be looking at bringing him home Thursday. I however am being discharged maybe Tuesday.
