People have Holidays so jacked up now days! I get that some special needs kids can't have candy so they get a few gifts but some of these people are ridiculous. Easter is about celebrating the re-birth of Jesus not no dag gum bunny!
Right. Some small candy or a book is acceptable but I see some people give their kids large gifts. It just creates an unrealistic holiday and the true meaning is lost. @snowbaby313
I agree with both sides, I'm one that gave my kid an expensive toy and candy and dyed eggs and did the egg hunt. but I don't see anything wrong with wanting to give you kid what you didn't have weather it be a religious holiday or not. some people are not very religious but that doesn't mean they shouldn't do the holiday how they want. some ppl beleive in just simple things and more ad to going to church and having a big breakfast or dinner, and that's fine too. everyone has their own opinion and we shouldn't judge.

I agree and was just saying that! I always do a book or two and a little candy maybe a very very small toy and he's always happy!
