When people tell me that they wish they could have had a c-section because it's easier...😑...I'm almost 2 weeks PP and still can't shower myself because of my cut reopening...
@theinkedmommy, omg. it hurt having to hold in that laugh. she's sitting g right in front of me
@theinkedmommy, that was the plan at home...then the mother in law made her week long stay 😑 cock block
@theinkedmommy, I'm always trying to get freaky, but if he was trying, he could have at least taken his clothes off an gotten in
I can agree with All you ladies I'm having my second csection next Tuesday I'm am not looking forward to the recovery process but my husband just graduated college with a bachelors so I'm happy he's gonna be around to help me til I can get back on my feet
This is my first and I know damn well a c-section is NOT easy at all. I applaud the ladies that had to get it because that post partum can kick some ass. My mother had one with my little brother and her scar is STILL a little tender today and he's 10 years old.
I guess I was "lucky" (hard to say that because of my circumstances) for my emergency c section because my 4 year old was home and my baby was in the nicu so I had time to recover physically on my own. I didn't have my husband to help me though because he was at home which was 2 hours away from the hospital I was flown to so I had a lonely 7 weeks to recover. I felt procedure to procedure, the c section was easier to deal with. When I had my induction/vaginal birth I was a big baby about it. Haha. I also bled longer and was on pain pills longer than with my c section. They both suck. Lol
@marmber, I had a spinak, epidural, and something else, then they gave me the drug button in the hospital room. I asked to be discharged as soon as possible. I don't do hospitas
@rmily18234, oh... I was given a spinal and was in the hospital for 4 dys. I'm surprised they only kept you there for 2 dys. I slept sitting up for about a month. I think it helped with my recovery.
@kimberlyyyy, my first c-section was a breeze, but I didn't have a 4 year old to chase after.
@being_mommy1216, yeah he works at a university, so the perks are there. I jacked extra of the surgical soap and that's what I use to wash, so hopefully that keeps away any infection
My csection was sooooo much better than my vaginal birth. Most people would disagree with me though. Lol. Hope you start feeling better soon.
Wow, you're definitely blessed to be able to have him off that long. I had a friend who's incision kept reopening and getting infected. It was terrible.
@marmber, I was discharged after less than 48 hours, but I had the epidural in me most of the time so they wouldn't let me shower.
@being_mommy1216 I am very happy my SO got off a week and a half. we live in a 2 story house, so it minimizes the up and down. I had an overall easy recovery so far, but I keep reopening the stitches, still have a hard time sitting up, and have really bad bruising.
I had a c section and it wasnt too bad at all for me. I showered everyday at the hospital and was able to walk. I just had to wear high waisted pants loose pants because my incision was sore.
@mommabear33, exactly. one isn't "easier". yeah you tear your vagina when you push them out, but you are torn all the way to your uterus through your stomach with a csection. neither is more convenient!
@sexxymama83, right?? I was a hunchback for a week, and I still need help washing my hair. my in laws probably think I'm trying to get freaky whenever I ask my SO for help in the shower. nah, I just can't wash my hair 😕
I'm freaking out about having to have another cesarean. the only "good thing" is that I already know what to expect BUT the recovery part of it has me losing my mind! There's no way my SO's boss would give him off 2 weeks and even if he would who can afford that!?
I haven't had one but I couldn't see how being cut open is easier, people have issues
It definitely is not easier. I was thinking about the last shower I had too smh. I can barely stand long enough before my incision starts to burn😕
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Because I can't sit here and watch Bolt for the 8,000th time, let's take a trip down memory lane!
weird because....

Amen! I'm still traumatized from my c section!! I don't want to have any more babies because of it 😳 there is no way it's easier!
