so my daughter is 3 weeks old and my baby daddy wanna go out to eat 2ma is it OK to take baby or should I just stay home with the baby
taking the baby out is fine it's actually better for the baby to build their immune systems the more u keep them sheltered the more they will get sick. .. babies are just little people ...people freak out about things but trust me I had both my kids out n a week of having them n will with this one as well
@dcb012, lol exactly :) I know some ppl are over protective and that's fine but there's really no reason to keep the baby and yourself cooped up
taking baby out is fine :) they've got an immune system built up already and they've gotta go out at some point...
@brookbrimommy419, yes. I had her, was discharged, napped, and went out to eat for dinner for my sister in laws bday! My son was the same way, he was 12 days old and we went out of town for an Easter egg hunt, and at a month went to another town and stayed in a hotel and went swimming. Putting the baby in a car seat and leaving the house won't kill them..... Leave a blanket over the car seat and don't let people into it. What's going to happen? They'll breath? The exact same air you would? Are you and your SO not going ANYWHERE? If he goes to work he could contract something and get the baby sick, weather could change and either, both or all of you could get sick. Your pillow could have pathogens and you could get sick..... There's no bubble to put them in.... Even in the NICU. Wash your hands and don't touch yours or the baby's face....
@ktwins188, yes girl and he don't care cause we don't live togather he gets to sleep peacefully while I'm up with the baby all night
@dcb012, r you serious I really do think it's too soon but I wanna get out the house so bad
😂😂 my daughter wasn't even 26 hours old and we were at a buffet for a bday party. As long as people aren't touching the baby and you wash your hands there shouldn't be an issue..... Kids are going to get sick, the more you seclude them the harder their immune system has to fight when they do get sick.
let him get mad. he's not gonna wanna deal with a sick baby crying you know just stay in til your baby is six weeks he doesn't know what he's talking about!
I've been taking her out since day one of being home
