18 weeks...Braxton contractions started yesterday at 5 am and have been pretty constant sense....
they come about every 2 minutes or less , and it freaks me out. non stop
They are painful, there's no unusual or bloody discharge, I am drinking tons of water and trying to rest as must as possible.
But I'm still worried...that these are too frequent and too early to be normal.
has anyone else experienced this?
I'm hoping for some peace of mind, that this can be normal...that I'm not the only one out there.
thanks everyone
thanks. I'm going tomorrow. it really painful. they are very frequent, as I said, 2 minutes or less apart. I have hip bone pain and lower back pain. when I'm having one of those my uterus gets really hard and so tight it causes pain and a little desire to push every other contraction. I'm so tired from having my uterus contract so often and it hurts. some women say they feel them when they walk or when they lay down only. I have have them none stop since yesterday morning. I am totally freaked out. I waited on going to the ER because I though this was something normal like my body getting used to the size of the baby etc. but I just went from not having them never to suddenly having them for over 24 hours without stopping. I'm exhausted. I'm going to DR tomorrow no matter what. I just wanted some peace of mind before the day is over.
that's not normal those don't sound like Braxton hicks that sound like contractions u should go in to the er if u keep feeling those
they should start around 20 weeks I suggest you call ur doc to get a peace of mind
I never heard anyone getting them that early
@adrianamead, you may want to go now if it is labor they can try to stop it until you are further along the sooner they do that the better . If you wait to long and it is contractions and it's too late to stop it you won't be having a baby you will be loosing it . Sorry to put it so harsh but Braxton hicks do not come that frequently for that long of time . And at 18 weeks the baby won't survive outside of you .
