hey ladies. for all of you who have had c sections, I was just wondering if it's uncomfortable…

The only thing that helped me feel like "my guts weren't going to fall out" last time around was the tummy control underwear. High waisted panty, they sell c panties but they're wayyyy too expensive. The regular ones work just as good.

The hospital will give you mesh underwear, I got some underwear before I was admitted to the hospital (before I even knew I was having a c section) I bought a size bigger because I thought I would have him vaginally, but they worked great for the incision. I wore sweat pants home, my hospital bags were packed for a vaginal delivery, and I wore sweatpants for a while after too. Just loose fitting stuff mostly. Are you having a c section?

Everyone's different @lilbabyboy16 . I liked the high waisted girdle type panties at first then after regular cotton type high waisted panties until the incision area wasn't as sensitive. Some of my regular panties I just ended up cutting the elastic in the front so it didn't rub and wore them w my sanitary pads for bleeding. The girdle type panties also help ur uterus and stomach retract faster than with out using them as many mothers I know have said (from their experience) .

@lilbabyboy16, Some mommies prefer totally loose everything like wearing an xtra size larger than normal clothing/underwear etc. My friends who have prefered that look for the "fold over type" yoga pant or shorts. You're able to adjust the height of the waistband if it's irritating your incision. If u wear the girdle.type of underwear u won't have to worry about the irritation and rubbing and can wear comfortable dresses-which I love!
