Ladies need help got a crib for free from my brothers friend but when my bf put it up we noticed the metal springs are missing from the crib so the mattress can go In the crib but where trying to find how much it will be and well I do have a play pin/ bassinet also but I feel like if we can't get the springs for the crib then use that so the baby can sleep in there but the problems is there's only a pad in there so help what should I do? Baby's coming on Tuesday also..here's a pic of the crib and then I'll post the picture of the play pin on the comments

I think the baby will be fine to sleep in the bassinet level of the play pin. people do it every day.
Use the play pin for the time being and then when you have the money to get the part do that. The play pin might be easier anyway cause you can keep it in your room if you'd like

They sell play pin mattresses on Amazon for about $20-$30 if you would like to add a little cushion to the play pin. but my first suggestion would be to find out the make and model of the crib (should be on a plaque or engraved somewhere on the crib, like an inner side of a leg) and contact the manufacturer to see if they sell replacement parts.
@babyreeves, I can also return the mattress for the crib instead because it was 65 dollars and get the play pin mattress also 😊
