have any of you mommas been induced? if she doesn't come by Thursday @ 4:00 I'll be induced and have the baby by Friday, which is April fools day (I think that'd be pretty sweet so I'm not complaining) but my midwife said they'd put a Foley catheter in which is like a balloon to expand my cervix.. Anyone with experience of this and how painful it is?!? #help
I was induced cause my water broke and my body wouldnt dilate or contract and they put one of those in had you don't feel it go in and it comes out when your 6cm it helps you dilate faster I went from a 1-6&1/2 in 4 hours
It hurt going in I don't think the doctor that did mine knew what she was doing it feels weird when it falls out after 3cms though
I think about another 7 hours but I also got an epidural when I was around 5 or 6 cm so it wasn't horrible the whole time
How long did it take once that happened for you to have the baby? @poppys
I had that and honestly it sucked but really worked. once it was in it was just a lot of pressure
I was induced but they only broke my water everything else happened on its own but still painful
Was the process of dilating painful? @Wyatt s_mommy_0106 they said they'd give me stuff to help w. Pain but this is my first & im very nervous
