OK so I don't understand this. The first day of my last period was Jan 6 which means I'd be 11 weeks and a few days. But at the ER they told me I'm 12 weeks 0 days which technically means the first day of my last period would have been Jan 1 which isn't right and I didn't have a period in Nov or Dec. So how can I be 12 weeks. Can someone explain please?!?!?!

The ultrasound is what they are using now because it is more accurate. Being that your periods are irregular, it's hard for them to pinpoint the exact date of ovulation. They did the same thing for me.

Sometimes your body ovulates on a different day than you think it might be or even when an app thinks you might. The ultrasound takes in to consideration the actual size of the fetus. Sometimes they go thru growth spurts especially in the beginning. My guy has been almost 2 weeks ahead of schedule the entire time. And thus pregnancy was totally in gods hands. I had just had a miscarriage and purposely skipped the 3 days before and 3 days after my ovulation day and still got pregnant. I think my body ovulated early.

oh ok. That makes a lot of since now. Thank you lady's I really appreciate it. I was using 3 different t apps and they all told my a different ovulation time so I guess that's what happened.
