where can you get your daughter ears pierced and please don't say Claire's lol not an option are their others?
The gun isn't all that safe because it can get stuck which is usually those cheap plastic guns but they sell a variety of them. Mine is metal and I've never had issues with it. But then again most people who do don't really know how to do it right because they'll try to Yank it off the ear before even checking to see if it went through all the way ... But the needle is the best way and tattoo shops are normally the only places that will use the needle i like using the needle its so much easier.
@beckahhkathleen I only want them using the needle I've been told by multiple people the gun isn't safe:/
I did my daughters ears. But i use to do piercings in a shop in Atlanta so I'm trained. Plus me doing it means that they're even and not crooked like Clair's ... Plus my gun is sterile but i just went to Dillard's and bought her earnings to use
@hermommy, lol! It's always a good option to just call and ask. That why if they say not newborns you can ask what age is okay and then just hold out. That's my plan. It'll happen when it can be done correctly safely and professionally.
@twinscomingsoon agreed and no i was excited you brought that up because I know they don't use the guns:)
@hermommy, I'm not sure sorry if I worded it wrong. Once my girls come that will be my first stop. I refuse to let anyone come near my babies with those barbaric guns! I'd rather wait til they were older if I have to.
@hermommy, its a jewelry store in the mall ya never heard of it Iibe in phoenix they have em.in malls across the country I'm from Ohio its there too
@twinscomingsoon did they say yes!? I was preferring to use the one that did mine
I know it sounds odd but call a tattoo shop that does piercings and ask if they would be comfortable doing a newborns ears. That way it's not done by the gun and it'll be professionally handled.
@hermommy, I know 😐 I didn't know that when I was younger and I really wish I did. I even got my cartilage pierced with a gun there
Piercing Pagoda if you have one where you're at @hermommy
@hermommy, they use a piercing gun. I would assume they are trained.
@allybrand cool I will definitely check there, are they trained and do they use the piercing gun?
@allybrand where though I've never seen them do that lol wish I would've known
I did my daughter's at piercing pagoda
@vegasgirl the people that work at Claire's are not trained to do so and my cousin had her daughters ears pierced there, they were rusted number one and crooked
Some dr offices do it. But you have to be a patient there. My pedis dr does & most here where I live do
