Does anyone know how common it is to have unexpected twins? I haven't had an ultrasound since I was 19 weeks and every night I have dreams about having twins... It's freaking me out

I read some where they normally would know but know but in some rare cases one baby can shadow the other the whole time and never be detected till birth
my mother had the same happen but things were way different even in the 7 years since I've had a baby last. years ago like when my mom had babies things were even way more different. but that's ok I can disagree but I'm sticking with my first comment. @rainbowbaby2015
@mygiftof2016, I disagree, no offense but my mom was pregnant with twins and up until she gave birth one was hiding behind the other and the doctors didn't know. They had a very big surprise during labor.
they would have seen it by 19 weeks if there were two lol dreams are crazy when your pregnant aren't they...
This scares me! Twins are very common in my family plus I'm a twin and so is my mom! Every sonogram I've had I'm like theirs just one in there right?!
