the tests are so high tech now you can take it when ever and get the same results as you did in the morning. I took 3 tests one in after noon one the same night and one in morning and they all had same positive result . so it really doesn't matter when

As long as the urine has sat in your bladder for over 4 hours it should be concentrated enough to produce what a "first morning" pee would

You don't have to use your first pee, but it's more concentrated so if you're pregnant it'll show up darker. When I took mine in the morning it showed positive in like five seconds and it was very dark.

if it is early you get a better result with first morning urine

You don't have to use the first pee, but it is more accurate! If you already got a positive it may show up at any time, but I would wait until the morning to be sure!
