what terrifies me about birth (among other things) is that there is literally no preventing that there will be pain of some kind. And probably the worst pain I will ever experience. That is really freaky to me! At least this is the kind of pain I get a spawn out of, right!!?

The pain does suck but when baby's coming, getting them out healthy is all that matters @emkasting

Thanks ladies :) I'm just a wuss when it comes to pain so facing a situation where pain is what is going to happen no matter what is scary to me! But that doesn't make me any less excited :):) @emiliasmommy15 @taraduffy79 @babyjjsmommy

I thought the same thing and honestly the worst pain I felt was with the contractions....once my epidural kicked in I was fine!!

@emkasting, In my experience, the contractions were the worst. I had a natural birth and had 2nd degree tearing. But when I look back, I can't remember the pain or what it felt like.

I could be like "yeah contractions suck!" but if I'm being honest, gallbladder attacks were way worse pains to me than any contractions. you can do it, ma 😘 we are made for this.

@liveitwithlove oh yeah I'm definitely trying to keep a positive attitude because those are the women who have these "painless births" that this other girl is talking about on here, it's not that they are actually painless but that the women have a positivity toward birthing and trust their bodies to do what it needs to do. I've been telling myself this whole pregnancy that I'm literally made to do this. I'm wondering if my positivity about it is why I've had such a good pregnancy but I can only hope!
