so my sons father isn't in the picture, and we try not to use dada around him. but now my step dad comes in the room and he goes, "dada dada dada!" when he wants me he goes, "mama mama mama!" I guess that's okay, right?? as long as he knows that's hid grandpa?

I hope so. in my eyes his father is just a sperm donor. I got a beautiful son out of it. that's all that matters. @alainalovesmommy

ugh I don't even know how he learned dada. we don't say it around him. and we tell him that's grandpa. he's only 4 months. IDK how he can say mama and dada already! he will prob never see his "dad" because of what happened. he tried to kill him and beat me. so nope. @alainalovesmommy @mantha823

yes, but id also tell him no thats grandpa.....or he will grow up thinking hes his dad. my son called my brother dad for the longest time bc that was his only male figure in his life at that time and i kept saying no Uncle Chris.....it's normal.
