Same thing is happening to me! My boyfriend is finally excepting the fact that she is a girl.. But everyone wants to tell him it can change to a boy ultrasounds can be misread. 🙄

@dcb012, yeah i talked to him this morning and he said come on you know ill love her no matter what so that made me feel a bit better. thank you for reassuring me:) @angelmama12 i havent asked for it i might my next appointment but i doubt they will give it to me because im 38 going on 39 weeks

Does your doctor offer the panorama blood test? It's way more accurate than any ultrasound, and we found out we were having a boy at 12 weeks with my last one. They are able to do the blood test as early as 9 or 10 weeks, and then it takes a week or two to get the results!

I carried so high with my son no one knew I was pregnant until I was almost 7montha. My daughter was carried low the whole time..... As far as I can tell from reading the scan (I'm a CMA if that helps) it's a girl. No doubt..... Boys have turtles and girls have 3 distinct lines. Yours has lines..... All guys want their daddy's boy and to be able to have that just like girls want their mini me..... He'll come around but defiantly talk to him about how it makes you feel. He may think it's just funny to joke

@vrf04042016, it hurts my feeling too, that he is pushing to have a girl first...but i do understand his reason why......i don't even care what people say, if its a girl or boy, lets just think either way they are gift, and your husband will surely love her, when he see her for the first time...

@vannahjaime, i dont know what im looking at either im sorry:/ do you have any ultrasound boutiques in your town or surrounding areas? @ninarose08 yeah i wish that was the case for my husband but he wants a boy first he even said he'll be so happy if its a boy first which hurts my feelings because its his child no matter what it is be happy either way he wants a boy first so he can protect his little sister and im sitting here like she wont need protecting with him has her father she can teach him how to whoop some other boy or girls ass if she gets messed with

@emilybbyh, thanks for saying that lol im still a little worried but hopefully theyll let me get another ultrasound on my next appointment im not really worried about the high or low stereotype because everyone carries differently but im just worried that my husband is getting his hopes up in thinking she'll come out a he and he'll be even more devastated when she comes out a she and also everyone asks if im having a boy like ok just because your wife, sister, cousins, mother, aunts, have all carried a certain way doesn't mean i will too

its funny, my bf said we will have a girl , because i am carrying my belly high...and many people keep saying, it and its getting annoying .and i said no its a boy...it takes one month for him to accept we are having a boy...my poor love, he really likes to have a girl as his first child...

I know at 16 weeks they can be really swollen still and your 20 weeks scan looks very very much like a girl. I wouldn't worry to much.

i have both ultrasounds the one in the post was i believe 16 or 17 weeks and the one in the comments is my 20 weeks and i thought i kinda saw a penis in the one in the post but im not sure i think my next appointment ill ask for another ultrasound hopefully it wont be wrong

Your 20 weeks one definitely looks like a girl! I didn't see you posted that. I wouldn't worry, I think she's a girl!

I'll be honest, I had an ultrasound at 16 weeks and they said a girl by 100%! Then at my anatomy scan at 20 weeks I was told a boy. Just don't get too overly excited yet because when I found out it hurt like hell and it's very difficult. If you can get a second opinion. Just to be safe, especially since you're having concerns now.
