Does any one know how child support works in California? for example if my baby's father has 3 kids with his now wife and one with me, and I file for child support do they divide what he makes with all his kids or just give me a great amount? I'm wondering... TIA.

they divide on the amount of kids. It also really depends on the judge or person helping you out mine was an asshole and even though he had proof that the father never gave me any type of help and that's I had stopped working because I had just gotten married he wanted me to give my ex child support.
My friend had her baby first and she gets more than the other girl even tho they each have 1 kids from the guy but I think it depends on how much he makes too

Someone told me if I make more than my husband his child support can go up if his ex would to ask for household income? Is that a thing how is that fair I bust myself in school busy hard to get a job just for my kids. And it would be taken in consideration for more child support and my kids to lose more money.
