Cursed my husband out something bad then blocked his ass. He had a set return date from deployment for May27th.. Then he was told it maybe early June(1st,2nd) whatever. Now he texted me today saying they're sending him to another location for 2 weeks in June.. Like WTF?? No no.. If I knew I would have to do this alone I would have waited to get pregnant. One of his co-workers was sent home early because his wife filed for divorce.. Now if they could send him home for that why wouldn't they at least consider sending you home to your pregnant wife. My husband is non confrontational so im pretty sure when they told him he was just like "ok" now I do understand sometimes you have no control over things but you could at least voice an opinion... Do something. My whole fuckin day is ruined.

Have you ever heard of the negative notation of an army wife... That's what I'm talking about... Those wives that made me not want to associate myself with other army wives.. Drama over something that's out of their hands... Just accept its the military life and move on.. Atleast he will be home for the birth (hopefully) 19 weeks.. 2 more weeks in June... I'd rather take that then the alternative. Sorry I wasn't judging I was just informing worst things can happen especially when deployed.. The last thing I'd want is my husband hearing cus words out of my mouth rather than I love you stay safe.. What eve it's your marriage 🙄

Everyone's story is different and you know nothing about anyone's story so for you to judge and say one of "those wives" makes you seem very ignorant. you're allowed to get upset and voice it especially being pregnant and alone, and until you are in those shoes you have no room to talk in that fact, everyone chooses their life, military or not, but that doesn't mean you can't get upset or pissed about things that aren't easy.

What is one of "those wives" supposed to mean? That's actually extremely offensive

@brittanycheri, well it's very nice of you to be such a supportive and understanding wife but as you said you were NOT pregnant so you wouldn't know how it feels to go through you whole pregnancy alone. Everyone uses the "you signed up for this" and it's just like 🙄 STFU. I'm sorry if I'm being one of "those" wives but you could kindly not comment and block me ✌🏾️ TF

But still, the military is harsh to men who don't step up. When he came home.. How would you feel if the day you went into labor he had CQ for the 3 time that week?! He can't do shit about it. He has to stay. He will be gone for another month... YOU signed up for that. He is your husband you are to support his decisions and be the rock he needs back home. My husbands coming home date got pushed up by 3 months... Then pushed back again, then changed 3 times in one week. People who left after him came home before him. Then the day I was to pick him up the time changed 3 times.. No we weren't having a baby, but I sure did miss him. I'd rather give them another month and have him gone fore days when he is back because he said no to staying another two weeks. Your 19 weeks, things may happen anytime you can deliver at anytime but you may be pissed but you need his support... I had a friend miscarry in her 7th month! Anything can happen. Your a military wife... But don't be one of "those" wives. I'm just saying I'm sure he wanted to say no, but couldn't.. Even if he technically could, he probably couldn't.

@ashsanta, exactly I'm so tired of people saying "it's what you signed up for" honey if I knew I would be alone throughout my whole pregnancy I would have definitely waited until he got back. I tried saying with family as well but it's just not the same.

They might have said it to him in a way that made him feel he should do it. It is the army. Medical family leave can bring him home, but there would need to be something wrong with you. Thats the only thing I can think of that would bring him back. I wont say its only 2 weeks, because it feels longer to you. But at least he will be home soon.

@daniellethomson, I understand it will probably look bad but at the end who feelings matter more? His higher ups love him and requested him to come on this deployment he had the option to decline but he went because it's good pay. They asked him to extend because he's reliable but he didn't have to and that's why I'm upset

I noticed no one was giving you an actual answer so from sgt to me to you, He cannot ignore those orders, he must go to the secondary location. It is manditory.

Honestly Im in the same situation Mu husband has to leave for a bit in april, and Im already 34 weeks.. But I knew what could happen. I knew what I had coming. If your husband doesnt do it, it could reflect bad on him, and he may not get as much pay as he could get. Just think of the money coming in to help with the baby, but I also understand what you are feeling. Sometimes they do have a choice, but As of right now I just spoke to my husbands Sgt Major and when you are moved to a secondary location you have no choice but to go whether you served your time or not. He cannot get out of that. Unfortunately you did yell at him for something out of his control, but Im sure he understands your feelings.

@brittanycheri, I cursed him out because he was given an option to extend but thought it would make him look bad if he said no.. I'm pissed because he did so without talking to me about it and yes I blocked my husband😒 @brittanycheri

I know how frustrating it is! My husband is currently deployed and I'm 21 weeks and have a toddler he is supposed to be back before baby is born but it keeps switching, and I have no one here I tried going home for a little bit but things didn't work out. Military isn't the best when it comes to family, and yes we signed up for it but that doesn't make any of it any easier. Bc life happens outside the military and they are supposed to be all about "family" and they aren't alwaysx

If you were closer, I'd gladly spend time with you so you wouldn't feel alone. Try and find some mommy groups by your base. That might help

@landuhzluv, I'm due August 13th as well Not to down play his job but it's something not only he's able to do. They know he's good and one of the few they can depend on which I feel is a blessing & a curse I'm happy he's excelling at work but I hate that they turn for him to doing everything.

That's the military! You cursed him out for something his has no control over. He literally can't say no. Be pissed that the military not your husband. He is already upset he will miss this experience I'm sure of that! You blocked your husband?! You know of you regret that it's in his hands now to forgive you? I'm sorry you're upset but you did sign up for this when you married him and agreed to the military!

You married military. Well now you're getting it. My husband will thankfully be here for the birth but after 3-4 months he will be deploying and won't see his son again until he's almost 1, maybe later depending on if they come home on time. He left for 6 weeks recently so hopefully they don't extend his training into May because if they do there's a high chance I'll deliver on my own

That's military for you. Depending on his job, he may be critical. My husband is leaving for a month in May. I'm due Aug 13th. We don't have family here but I have some associates I THINK I can count on if I need anything but that doesn't ease my mind so I understand

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.

Does my son look like his dad? He's 4 weeks today he's given me money for him.. he claims when I send him pics of his "my boy, my Youngin" etc but he wants a DNA 🤔🤔 well when he comes home on the 22nd we're doing an at home test .... my 2nd question is once he does the test w us can he do anything to the test afterwards to mess up results? He's paying for the test & sending it off & the results will be emailed to him which I find stupid but anyways those are my 2 questions
