Has anyone tried dying they're hair blonde? I'm curious to know what some say. I've heard it can turn your hair orange. is this true?

In my experience it's only turned out the way I wanted when I've gotten it professionally done. The color is never even enough when I do it myself and I consider myself above average at dying my hair :p
I usually just buy a frosting kit and just not use the cap
There is a process to dying your hair blonde sometimes it takes multiple times and also you can buy like stripping shampoo and it removes all the orange
