It seems like there are a lot of first time moms on here, but does anyone have experience with multiple c sections? I am scheduled for my third one and am wondering about recovery
thanks :) I hope everything goes well for all of us! @lil_bigmama @wifeymumof5
@wifeymumof5, @amilo561 I only took 3 big pain pills with my 1st but I was 26 them I'm not a baby anymore & I have a almost 4 year old I have 2 take care of too so I'm praying for all us we all have a great recovery ty yall made me feel a bit better
thanks! yeah I did try and do too much last time. I am going to stay with my mom so she can help with my kids while I rest and take care of the baby so hopefully that makes it easy. I hope yours goes well, too! @wifeymumof5
@lil_bigmama, recovery was not bad at all to me just make sure u don't over do anything and take care of the wound the worst part to me is just getting the staples removed
No I didn't think it was too bad. I felt great after a day or so and then got behind on my pain medication, so that was a little hard, but otherwise it was fine :) I did think it was a little tougher than the first but still not too bad @lil_bigmama try not to worry :) you should be fine. I think I jusy got too confident and thought I didn't need the pain meds and that made it harder
@wifeymumof5, if u have any thing to add I would love to hear from u both really worried about it
Yeah I know what u mean hopefully it will go smoothly. I have learned through all my c sections though to take it easy as possible and make sure u give yourself time to heal and don't do to much to fast cause that can stall the healing process....but I hope things do go as smooth as possible for you
I have a question for u bc I might have 2 have a c section with this baby bc I had one with my 1st is recovery bad I'm almost 30 I'm scared
yeah I know what you mean . . . I am planning on this being the last one. I like my doctor and she has been my doctor through all three pregnancies so everything will hopefully go smoothly. I just have two toddlers already so I want to recover quickly, but I feel like it will take longer being my third one. @wifeymumof5
I have had four already and I am on my fifth....the recovery time was not all that bad for me and was less recovery than my first one but I heard each one is diffrent but I have had great experiences....I'm nervous about this one though cause I was not planning anymore children so having a fifth c section is kind of never wracking
I had two C-section and this will be my third as well. My first was the worse. Second wasn't as bad. Just make sure to have some help. Take it easy and take medicine regular. And walk. It hurts but walking heals you faster.
