I need mom help!! I put My LO to sleep in the room while I went to go get in the shower and I came back like 15 mins and he threw up everywhere and made shift gasp sound when I picked him up to clean him! He was not crying or anything I have a Monitor in his room that connects to my phone! So what do you think happened? Should I take him to the ER?

@nurseriri, thank you!! He woke up coughing a little but that's it i don't hear any gurgling sounds from him!!

@eboniememmott12, sounds like he aspirated on his vomit. If he's a arousable and breathing ok then there shouldn't be a concern. As a nurse I wouldn't worry but as a mom we tend to worry. Make sure his nostrils is cleared. If you hear a lot of gurgling so to speak on his chest then you would be concerned. Sometimes depending on how he aspirated and how much then it can go into his lungs and cause aspiration pneumonia (and that would be a lot of fluids he had to vomit). But from your post it seems like he moved and didn't settle whatever he had last and he aspirated aka choked. Wake him up if you're uneasy.

@twins1987, he does have acid but I gave him his medicine and it was mostly phlegm! But a brownish color

Aw poor little one I hope all is well he may have acid reflux my son had it and he throwed up constantly even in his sleep but do what u feel is best for u and baby @eboniememmott12
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Got home around 11... washed lil man up and made him a bottle... asked my husband to get off his phone and help me put him to sleep... as soon as I did, my husband sat on the couch and fell right to sleep with Zach in his arms... I walked over to him and picked Zach up and he has to nerve to jump awake talking about I scared him because he thought he dropped Zach... this is why I’ve stopped asking him to hold him... he is irresponsible... I ended up setting up Zach’s stand up floor lamp, rearranging his room, making him a late night/early morning bottle, rocking him to sleep in his car seat and then moving him to his room all while my husband was knocked out in the living room.... I swear I feel like a single mother
Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
My baby was on enfamil gentlease but he was throwing up with it so they switched him to enfamil nutramigen and hes throwing up a ton more with it like alot hes been on it since 9/20 what should i do?
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.
