I wouldn't worry about it. It's a beautiful unique name. Your Momma and them will come around. 🙃Y'all did good! I would tell you. I had a really hard time picking a name for my BabyGirl. My husband is insisting on the middle name Annie after his Momma. I really don't like the name but respect his wishes and her middle name is Annie.

Yes I don't see it as being a ghetto name idk why she thinks it's ghetto.. It's a very unique name and the meaning of the name is even better (heavenly child). My child's father and I came up with it together and it was a special moment that we worked together without arguing or disagreeing and now i have people talking down on it. 😞 @harmony2078

Oh I definitely understand that one! I've been through so many names because of that very reason. 😏. I think Leilani is pretty and never would have thought it to be a ghetto name at all.

Yes I agree with @twinmama_navywife. I like Leilani because it's different but Girl I went through so many name prior to settling on the current one.

Leilani is different. Which is what I like about it. Then again you could go changing your mind a million times.
