Lay lah nee is the pronunciation - Leilani is the spelling. Does this name sound ghetto to you guys? I finally revealed the pronunciation to my family (mom) (brother) and they doesn't like it and said it sounds really ghetto.

I don't think so, I wanted that name if I was to have a girl and my husband said no because its ghetto and all the hoodrats have that name, even tho its not true.
