Okay so my boyfriend and I have been having this on going argument about how my son's hair is going to be. My son will be mixed with Black & Puerto Rican... and I, personally, dislike braids. I want my son's hair to be left alone. Cute and curly. Like this... Thoughts or opinions on this subject? This is our first child for the both of us. So I'm not sure how to compromise 😑

@jadestarlight, I just feel like he will be too young for that pain. And I know he's going to hate the process. Ahh, idk 😑
My son is mixed with black and Puerto Rican and when he's born I honestly don't see myself braiding his hair.. but I mean both hair styles are cute. And at the same time I believe a baby's head is to sensitive to braid .
I think he looks cute like that. braids take alot of matience. my nieces (who is mixed black and white) hair was braided pretty often intill she was 10. I personally don't care for boys with braids it works for some and not others. my niece hated having her hair braided but always did it because she would be ridiculed if she wore her hair naturally. I'd say try it see if he likes it or not.
