last night I found out my husband has been sexting a girl for an hour or so for two days while I was at work. he says he has no memory of doing so and the messages aren't like him. his PTSD has been terrible since moving here and it causes short term memory loss and fugue states. anyone know of any good free marriage counselors? we want to desperately work through this. I know this man like the back of my hand and this isn't at all like him. he has been suicidal as well due to us being homeless and broke and not having our toddler with us. please if anyone can help us save our marriage, let me know. thank you all.

do you have insurence? sometimes they can cover a certain amount of counseling time or find a church chaplin, they are great at helping to rebuild marriages, my husband and I met with one twice a week while he was in the Army. @lakilucid

my husband is agnostic and I am wiccan so church isn't really a thing we do but I'll try anything. we currently don't have insurance.

Maybe find a friend that dose attend a church that she can trust the pastor to be just a counselor to the two of you and respect your beliefs also. they are trained and are usually free.@lakilucid,

Love, I'm sorry but just because he doesn't remember doing it after. doesn't mean he didn't know what he was doing at the moment. I honestly do wish you the best & I hope things only get better for the 2 of you. I read this & it was the only thing I could think. just my opinion, no hate..

@lucyyxoxo_, I appreciate the sentiment but we both have PTSD and I know he's telling the truth. it happens to me as well. we have been out of our medicine for about two weeks. its hell.
