so I wonder how many fake accounts are on here because I was reading some ones post and some one commented and was like it's ok ,wanna be friends on here and i guess that person was banned from this .so I'm guessing it was a fake account . I can't stand people who have fake accounts . so if any of you mamas know if any fake accounts on here please let me know . thanks

@babymay2016, @kotora I never thought of that either! I'm deleting my u/s now if preggie wants proof I'll gladly send them but I'm so paranoid about things like ppl finding is it freaks me out
Yes I had never thought of it either and was really upset, like crying for days, realizing little things I posted could have helped someone find me. I have posted my ultrasound pictures but cropped out anything except the picture. The chances of someone finding us are still slim, but I rather there be no chance at all. I kinda had to put myself in the shoes of a creeper and go back through alllll my posts and delete stuff. Now I am juts more careful with what I post.
Well depending on where you are and what information your ultrasound shows, that could tell someone your first and last name, your age, and what hospital you go to. I would be comfortable with sending Preggie a private picture of my ultrasound to prove I am real, but never on my actual profile.
@babymay2016, ya that does help alot .thank you . And I didn't know that our names in an ultrasound can give away info, like to find us? I was told to show my name that way everybody knows I'm not fake .:(
If I see something that just doesn't sit well with me or is fishy, I automatically report the page with "fake?" and they will take care of it. Hope that helps you.
You're right. You really can't. In the beginning of my pregnancy I talked to multiple people I didn't realize were just fake profiles and was VERY upset about it. But preggie is always on top of things and it just made me more cautious about not posting anything remotely personal. Not like I would anyways but people don't think to take their names and stuff off of ultrasounds and they give out information people could potentially use to find them. I love the advice and like to give advise, but more importantly we must keep ourselves and our babies SAFE
@babymay2016, that's good to hear because I seriously can't stand creeps. And can't trust anyone these days . Lol
If you report any page you think is fake, preggie will delete them prettttty quick. Like within 10minutes. Every post is live monitored 24/7 and they're constantly working to keep it safe for everyone.
People could also steal your ultrasound pictures. That's why I have a hard time posting pictures like that on the internet! In one of the FB groups I'm in, girls were talking about random people stealing their US photos and claiming they were theirs for fake pregnancies! People are psycho these days and we have to protect ourselves and our babies!
