random rant.... when I lived in the same city as my sons dad he never made time for him, even when we were together. but now that I'm 300+ miles away and with someone else. now all of a sudden he misses him and wishes he could spend time with him. at first it made me feel bad to be so far. but whenever I would go back to visit he was always "to busy" to see him.....Its even to a point my son knows the difference in him and my boyfriend. He calls my Bf Daddy and him Dad. he's only 4 and he understands who's really there for him. I never made him call him daddy he just picked it up on his own.

my bf tells me Im too nice by steadily giving him chances to be better when he only let's him down @jadestarlight I just hope one days he grows up before its too late and my son ends up not wanting to deal with him at all

yeah. at least he is seeing what a real father figure is. id stop handing out chances i get sick of watching childrens heart get broken by absentee parents.

@jadestarlight, after some recent events I've decided to just stop. I refuse to even waste time calling just for him to talk when he doesn't even take time to pick up. he's suppsed to be sending money finally. but hasn't because he has "his personal responsibilities" to do first lol so yeah I'm done.
