Today we got our breast pump from my husbands insurance company and I'm opening the package up with excitement. My husband looks at it and goes "looks like momma got a new toy."
I glared at him and said if only. Momma can't use this for another 11 weeks.

Okay, well let me buy you a new Mod (husband vapes) and then tell you that you can look at this beautiful machine but can't use it for another 11 weeks. You know to make things fair.
"Well thats not fun. You know I've been obsessing over these 2 mods. Seems like cruel and unusual punishment to have me go through this."

Well you could start expressing your colostrum. You can even freeze it and bring it in with you when you go in to deliver! :)

@gingyrex, Since I'm not already breast feeding. If I start pumping it can start premature labor and with all my complications during pregnancy I don't want to take that risk.

I understand. I have been expressing once a day for a few weeks now, but I have been careful to feel for contractions. I was worried about milk production because my older sister was unable to breastfeed. I'm up to nearly an ounce now! :) Some women are more sensitive than others, so if you're concerned then don't do it. I'm sorry you've had complications, I hope you have a healthy and happy rest of your pregnancy. ^.^
