I can say that this goes away but for the longest time during this pregnancy I could feel and hear my heart beating so fast ALL the time. It would drive me crazy. The only thing I thought it could be was high blood pressure, but I don't have high blood pressure. It is totally normal but super annoying. Like I could feel my heart beating in my head, and I could hear it. OMG... My doctors were not concerned and it did eventually go away.
Oh hey I didn't think about that but I am also anemic. Maybe that had something to do with it... I don't notice it anymore but I also have started taking an iron pill for anemia.
Well you should be having your glucose test soon, and then they should check your iron also? They didn't notice I was anemic until 26wks when I did that test. I don't know if it is even related but I know exactly what you mean. I could always hear my heart beat and thought I was gonna have a heart attack I would make everybody feel my heart and my doctor was not concerned.
its actually very common in pregnancy. it happeend to me also! apparently your heart works harder because of the extra blood. it does stop. i think mine stopped in thr middle of second trimester. it is scary tho!
Your heart is working twice as hard to pump blood now because it's not just you who need blood and stuff so your heart will race a little faster a little harder and the shortness of breath doesn't really get easier as baby gets so much bigger
