I hate when my boyfriend gets a new video game today he was off and we have yet to even spend time together and he has school tonight until 10:30 tonight it's already 5:20 here and he has to leave for school in 30 minutes which I'm still probably not gonna even spend time with him then, I hate being this lonely and he refuses to put the fucking down, he's like a child when he gets new video games, just hope he doesn't do this when the baby is born or I swear I'm taking away all of his video games, I may be dramatic right now but this happens every time :/ :(

play with him. ask him questions about the game. I'm a gamer though. I understand it can be very frustrating. tell him you would like to spend time with him. try to make some time as couple time each day.

he only has 1 controller otherwise I'd love to and I do he just gives me 1 word answers and when I try to tell him I wanna spend time with him he just gets pissy with me, I tried everything I possibly could and nothing is working :/

my husband plays video games all the time too, and only has one controller. I always ask to play with him and he usually is like, "yeah, I'll show you how to play". I'll sit down on his lap and he'll teach me some things and then let me play and help me out while rubbing my back.

Boys and their video games lol. I second what @jadestarlight said. Invest in a second controller and play with him. My husband and I used to play "call of duty" together allllll of the time. I just wanted to spend time with him & did whatever I needed to lol😄I actually liked it until it gave me a headache lol!

keep trying. asking him questions about the game when he's not playing. I used to get fussed at for asking questions during football. so I'd ask questions during commercials. get a second controller ask for a turn. be persistent. try when it's not a "new toy" or start playing one of the games when he's not. maybe he's using this as some "him" time. but i would just keep trying I had to ask constantly to play too in some cases.
