your not suppose to put your newborn in a crib till they are atleast a few months old

you can put a new born in a crib there's no age on that but a lot of people do prefer having a bassinet by there bed either way you choose ,my kids all acted like that when I tried putting then down their comfort is with a familiar sent and smell and that's mommy and daddy he was just in your belly a few weeks ago so he's used to the closeness I took advantage of that because one day he won't want to snuggle or want to sleep on his own one day

Ain't no such thing as spoiling a newborn lol. But no really they don't grasp that concept until about 6 months so cuddle all you want! Oh and my son will be swaddled in a crib the day he comes home soooo being in a crib is just fine.

I've been putting my baby in her crib since she came home. I also end up bringing her in bed with me though because I am the one that wants to cuddle lol. I put her changing pad in the crib so she would feel more secure and put a piece of my clothing near her so she could smell my scent

@jessica0830, we swaddle him and he's smart enough to tell the difference lol
