*Curious* Moms, how old was your LO when you decided to travel by air?
@sokori, I was nervous too but she was actually fine, I have to give her credit.. Hopefully it will be the same this time around. I found these baby ear plugs in bedbath&beyond; they sell them in buybuybaby too. But those fell right out lol... What really worked was when taking off and landing a breastfed her and if u don't breastfeed then just feeding out a bottle too will do the trick. It worked like magic..
There was a girl that sat next to me that breastfeed her son during take off. Lol she kept telling me that she couldn't believe that my baby slept through take off. @sokori
@aleighasmommy1113, think I'm going to have a little trouble with this one lol. My son refuses the pacifier and he doesn't drink from the bottle just yet. Think I'll have to just give him the boob when we're about to take off.
I had a bottle ready when I got on the plane and a paci but she ended up sleeping pretty much through the whole flight. She really didn't have a problem with the ear popping. When we were landing she did have her paci in her mouth tho.@sokori
@aleighasmommy1113, how did that go for you? I'm just so curious about the ear popping and what to do to relieve it for the baby
@bubblebeck, aw man. Yeah think I might have to do that. I don't want to cause him any discomfort but I only have but so much time to visit back home before returning to work
Honestly, I don't remember him having any problems. It was 10 years ago😩. But you could always ask your pediatrician.
@kibella22, oh man. I'm trying to travel to NY from CA and I'm a little nervous. My son will only be about 6 weeks when I'm planning to fly. I'm just nervous about the ear popping. What did you do to help that?
I did 5 months.... Almost an 8 hour trip from Cali to Florida. And now I'm doing it again from Cali to ny and she's 7 months... Honestly I feel the younger the easier it is to travel with them.
@kibella22, yes I breastfeed so that looks like what I'll have to do for sure. Thank you :)
