My daughter was tongue tied, i tried everything to get her to lach on... I went to a breastfeeding specialist for a couple days until i showed her her lip and under her tongue she was so shocked at how tongue tied she was in both places... She told me to go to the doctor to see what he thought about clipping her lip and under her tongue... He refused to do it he said she didn't have to have it... Her tongue would only go halfway up it wouldn't reach the roof of her mouth... She's now 7 months and she eats like a champ lol she has no trouble...

@flower_princess, so she has a lip tie. I thought so. it explains why I'm having issues with breastfeeding...

My son has a lip tie too but it's not that bad

My little brother had one that was pretty bad like that but he never had to have it clipped. I would ask your pediatrician.
