my bassinet I got for my baby girl to sleep in while she is tiny enough to sleep in it, the mattress is hard! how do yall make it softer or what do yall do?

They say you want the mattress hard but if it's like my daughter was it won't sleep on it for crap if it feels like a brick. I used a plush blanket on top and then got a crib sheet and packed down the sides into it so it was snug.  it was soft but not fall in and get lost kinda soft. it was just enough to where she felt comfortable.

baby needs hard mattress. not safe for them to be on plushy mat.

I put a plush baby blanket around my sons. just make sure you tuck it around it good if that's what you're gonna do.
