How many cm dilated do you have to be for the hospital to keep you !?

I say 5 if you are healthy and contracting.. I was 4.5 with low blood pressure and they kept me..

my Dr's offer it up to 9 cm but honestly once you hit 7 it goes quick I went from 7 to pushing in a hr. I used narcotics because I was in labor for 4 days. when I was finally induced at day 3 I had a epidural and that was my 2nd one at 5 cm

I went at 2cm dilated wasn't till 4cm they decided to admit me into a labor room. That was in Colorado.
