my so is dead set on taking our son off of formula now his b day is about 2 weeks away and I think we should wait a little bit longer. any thoughts?

he prefers real food to anything. the only time he really wants formula is if he wakes up in the middle of the nigh

@gmansmom15, I switched my son after his 1 year appointment the doctor told me it was fine I think it was harder for me than my son !

Well I dont see what's wrong with formula only at night for a little while and then give less and less every time and then maybe switch to an almond milk or some other refreshing drink at night if he wakes up ...since he already doesnt drink it much anyway. Your husband can have his opinion, but a slow transition is probably better than a sudden one.
