@curvymommy, my 6 year old does fine at first they thought it was a jungle gym but after a long talk they now know it's for sleeping and laying on. ot for jumping and playing.

@evococa, that's good! I'm a shortie at 5"1' so I might struggle lol. @rebecca4687 did you put the 6yr old on the top bunk? or do they switch, I hope my son listens

3 should be fine just explain to them the safety of being on the top bunk. I have my 4 and 6 year old in bunk beds and they do just fine.

Haha yeah my son was a little disappointed. He likes batman but he wanted TMNT. Lol. But yeah, I think the thing I'm most thankful for is that I can still carry him to bed. Not too high for that (:

Too cute! At three should be fine

We got this for our 4yr old. It's chest height on me (I'm 5'7) and he loves it. Looks like it might be a bit lower though. Didn't realize till after we got it that it said for 6+ but he's been fine with this bed. He knows if he acts crazy with it, I'll dismantle it lol. I'd say you know your child best, if you think they'll be okay the likely will. And it looks like the bumpers are high on that bed to keep them from rolling out. (: really cute bed

isn't it cute @hlanc4 ?! perfect for us because we don't want to lose the playroom. just worried he won't stay in it/fall out.
