when I had my son I tried to breast feed him.but I thought he wasn't getting enough.so I asked the hospital for the formula they usually give you two cans.after that either you have w.I.c or you go buy some

I would suggest to try breastfeeding first. It has better nutrients for the baby, and it's a good bonding time. If your baby can't latch you can always pump and feed your baby breast milk through a bottle and they will still get the nutrients. But breastfeeding isn't for everyone. You won't know until you try.

breastfeeding if you can...I've read the ingredients on the formula and I was a little grossed out by it. but some woman don't have a choice.

I formula fed my first and it was easiest getting the premade* bottles in the first few weeks. I'm breastfeeding my second and I felt like its a lot easier since you don't have to get out of bed and wash bottles. I think you should definitely try breastfeeding first. It's an amazing bond with your baby, plus it's free!!!! Please consider breastfeeding first, and if you try and it doesn't work then go to formula.

My son had a very hard time latching so I pumped and bottle feed for about 3 weeks after birth until I got an infection and had to stop :/ we had to try many different formulas until we found one that agreed with him as he had reflux, so I wouldn't buy to much at once! The good thing with formula is his dad and grandparents bonded while bottle feeding him and it gave me a break especially at night. He put a lot of weight on fast lol I will try breastfeeding again with my 2nd baby but would hesitate to switch if need be 😀
