@mamabrd, on my 4th c section. I have never had any problems my first was emergency as well. I was told that I wouldn't be able to deliver vaginally, but I told my doctors I wanted to at least try before opting for a surgery and they allowed me to try but my baby was in distress. Every woman is different and no matter how you give birth you are still a mother.

if you feel strongly about it I would seek a 2nd opinion. a lot of doctors push and scare women into c-sections because insurance companies pay them $25,000+ per cesarean they perform. anyway what's important is how you feel about it, trust your intuition.

@mamabrd, there's less than 1% chance of that happening. A lot of doctors use scare tactics. Stick firm for a natural birth if that's what you want.

you don't have to have a c-section if you don't want to, you have the option for a vbac. I'm just pointing this out bc after you've had a 2nd c-section the next time you have a baby (if) it will be nearly impossible to find someone that will help you deliver vaginally.
