Have an official date for induction. April 4th they will induce me barring any complications between now and then. I will be exactly 37 weeks. I get my second dose of steroids today to help baby boy's lungs mature faster. My doc is confident he will be ready at 37 without issues. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I get to meet my baby boy 3 weeks early! Not exactly how I planned it but we all know how the best laid plans go :). 13 days left.

@jessd1988, I feel great. I'm asymptomatic except for the blood pressure readings. I'm thankful to be here so they can constantly monitor my boy and I will already be here if something takes a turn. He is most important.

@californiadreaming., ., the issues I'm having are terrifying. If I wasn't having issues I would resist induction with every fiber of my being.

as long as you and baby are healthy you do what you got to do :)glad your both getting taken care of! I was induced at 9 days overdue it's definitely not as bad as some people make it out to be.

@jessd1988, my doc would never let me go over 40+1 she was emphatic about that. We just had no idea preeclampsia would develop so late and so fast. My son is measuring plenty big and with the steroids he will be more than ready. I'm glad to get him early but only if he is ready. I am a single mom though so I have to take care of me too.

yes, you need to be healthy yourself for when the baby arrives. I'm just over on kansas city if you ever need anything, don't hesitate!
