I'd rather take my boyfriends mom to every appointment then my mother. But then again my moms a crazy bitch.

when I was dating my daughter father his mom never came to anything even the birth knowing I was having her early when we called she never came even when I put her on the list to see her first grandchild when my daughter was able to have visitors in nicu she never came but soon as she came home she wanted her at her house 24/7 smh idk why they are like that but my fiance mother she's very much involved in my daughters life and her very first grandchild I'm due in july

I'd rather take my mom than my mil but that's just me. In all honesty if my husband couldn't go, I wouldn't want anyone to go. I would want the gender to be a surprise and kept it in an envelope until my husband got home and opened it together. That's just me though. My husband has been to every appointment unless he was on shift.

My boyfriends mom has been to every appointment I've had so far because my boyfriend hasn't been able to make them. She always ask when the next one is and if I want her to come. Usually her and my mom are there and then we all go eat together afterwards. I guess it just depends on the relationship you guys have.

@sparnell, they told us the gender at my last appointment but they just want to make sure this time at the actual scan so we kinda have a idea what we are having, @motheroftwojk idk she just seems like she maybe just don't want to expect that her littlest boy is having this own family but I'm not sure, @lbedell95 I'm really close to my mom I hardly talk to his mom but I don't have a problem with her or anything she just don't talk much

Well me and his mom are really close so that may be the difference. Like our families spend holidays together close. But we've also been together since our freshmen year of high school and now we're juniors in college so I don't know. She may come around more once she sees the baby. This is also my boyfriends mom first grandchildren and at first she was not very happy, same with my mom, but now they are both extremely excited! She may feel some type of way about her son having a baby right now.

That's what I'm thinking. And my boyfriend is also the youngest and only boy so he's a mommas boy. She may just feel like he's growing up too fast. I would just talk to her about but let have the conversation be more about how you would like her to be more involved in your pregnancy if she wants to because it is her first grandchild. And maybe that'll open the door for her to feel more comfortable.

my baby's father's mom nore him have been to be any doctor appointments not even the ones wear I had to go to a specialist. I have told them about every appointment. For my ultrasound wear we found out what the baby was my mom and my dads gf was there her and my mom and me all get along really well....me and the baby's father got along great to until about a month ago....she acted all excited about the baby but when the baby's father found out she was going to have my last name he got real ugly with me and all now she dosnt really seem like she cares. we invited her to the diaper wipe shower a good friend of my family throw for me she wouldn't even give my mom her address so we could send the invite to she was more why are yaw waiting to do an actual baby shower for after the baby is born so she didn't come this past Sunday but that is her loss...I had even asked if she wanted to come back to the delivery room with me and mom since I can have 2 and the daddy said he don't think he could handle it and she is supposed to be but idk if she still planes to or if I even want her 2
