So since I already have a scheduled c section next Tuesday do you all mommies think I should wear makeup and do my hair cus I really Wana look nice and not shitty on pictures but then again what if it's a dumb idea .. 🤔 cus I only wear makeup on certain special occasions and this day is definitely special 😍👶🏽💙
Your right Ima just go natural I actually Wana look back and say ok I don't look that good but who cares I had my son and that's what his mommy actually looks like 😊 @babyreeves I should just care that I'm good and my baby's healthy and most likely Ima be tired knowing me lol
and girl do I feel you there! almost my whole pregnancy I haven't had the motivation to touch my makeup 😭
I never put my newborn son up to my face or nothing like that until after we were home from the hospital lol. Yeah, if you are going to do that then there's a chance some product could cause irritation if they have sensitive skin or allergies but that's a lot of what ifs. Most skin to skin is chest and hand/arm contact lol. @maggiegallardo1293
Lol true that @babyreeves and then I think maybe I shouldn't do the whole makeup thing and go natural but boy do I feel ugly without it 😂
I had my first vaginally, at 1:24am so they waited to send the photographer in until the following day I guess? I'm not sure. If it was the same day I had the csection then I can totally see doing it. But part of me thinks (and hopes) lol that they are considerate enough to give us time to recoop
Now idk what to decide...Now I'm having second thoughts 😞🤔@babyreeves
I was wondering the same thing, lol. some people are so damn judgemental about it though. when I had my first, pictures were taken the next day though. so idk if it would be worth it
looking good for pictures should be the last of ur worries there is so much that can go wrong in a C-section plus when the baby comes out they put it next to ur face and I wouldn't want to make facial contact because babies are super sensitive skin
That's true and some lip gloss lol😊@aquariusmami
Well maybe you can do it lightly? Looking back at my birth photos I mainly wish I didn't 'shine' as much. So maybe some foundation and mascara to make you feel good. Just a suggestion😊
I was thinking fake eye lashes but idk if that would work?@elismommy13
if it's scheduled it won't take too long.. I would suggest water proof mascara though! lol
Omg really that's what I'm afraid of what if it takes longer the c section then my makeup is all messed up and then I Wana take it off lol@elismommy13
it's your call... do whatever you feel... it's definitely a special day! when I had my son it was a emergency csection due to a failed induction after like 36+ hours... I didn't have the strength even if I wanted to! Lol I say go for it!
I have a problem
Buying makeup. It's becoming a serious issue as I have no where else to store it!!!! I've filled 2 giant cases and the only drawer in my vanity. I don't even wear most of it, but I'm like James Woods. Ooooo a piece of makeup. Ooooo another piece of makeup?????

Trynna feel pretty while dealing with this pregnancy acne but it’s killing me! I hardly ever wear makeup, but in times like these I need to! 😭
others baby wearing
Do you (or would you) allow someone else to wear your baby?
Do you ladies wear makeup everyday? Just curious ☺
Why do some moms feel they can’t wear certain things because they are a mom now? I see it a lot on this app. I am a mom of 2 And that’s never changed what I wore if I saw a belly shirt I liked imma wear it if I see a short dress I like I’m going to wear it. why should u feel you can’t wear something because of what others think? Just want to hear opinions!!
But I can straighten my hair though lol
