My mom has been in the hospital for almost 2 weeks. She was diagnosed with the worst strand of the flu and she has pneumonia. She was admitted into the ICU last week because they also seen that her blood was acidic. She was then diagnosed with Keto Acidosis. Her sugars would not go down and were at a stand still in the 500's. Her being sick wreaked havoc on her diabetes and she almost died. I was so sad, I live in Los Angeles and my parents live 4.5 hours away in Arizona, so I felt a million miles away from her. I am now here with her, I have been for 2 weeks, and she is doing so much better and she should be released tomorrow. I can't imagine my life without her especially now that I'm having my baby. She must take care of herself now. It's so important that she's alive to meet her first grand baby. ❤️
