OK question!
I stay with my Mom , and I wanted too buy a diaper genie too put in my room so I won't have too tie a bag in the middle of the night and take it outside. But she's like No! your not gonna stink up my house with that diaper genie. does it prevent smell? and bugs? cuz I really want it but she's being a pain 😕

It doesn't smell. And we don't have any bugs either. They're really good

@booboolanii, honestly... It starts to smell after a while! My cousin has one and it made her whole house smell. They couldn't smell it cause they were nose blind to it. But anyone that would go in could! The whole like tin even started smelling. You're better off just using a small trash can and emptying it daily.

The one I got is arm and hammer and it lets out some powder that hides the smell and we never smelt it ever!

we had one for my sister and kept it in the bathroom. it smelled. and when my mom was cleanjng it out she found a bunch of maggots under it. it was so gross. we threw it out and never got one again. we were really clean about it too. we threw them out often.

I don't ever smell mine. And have never seen bugs around it either

If you change it quite often it won't smell, I wouldn't leave it dirty for more than two days at most even if it didn't smell..

If you change the bag at end of day it won't smell. The bags to replace are expensive to me though. I started buying the box of plastic bags at the dollar store that are for picking up dog poo lol. I'd put the diaper in and tie it. Then take out in the morning. Worked great and way cheaper.
