oh my god..my youngest daughter has no rules at her moms house..she acts like she doesnt know anything so her mom (if she is even at the house) will tell her she doesnt need to do it or does it for her..she is flunking at school because she doesn't get told to do her homework..she is a very smart girl and i know she can do it..i have been dealing with this for 7 years..we have her every weekend, holiday, when they are out for school and every summer and its getting to the point where i am starting to hate it when she is here because she doesnt listen at all for me and i have her 95% of the time by myself..her father doesnt back me up or help..im running out of options..i love her like she is my own and would do anything for her..if you have anything that would help please tell me..sorry for the rant but i have nobody to talk to about this

does she listen to him?

children can act out for attention. she could be frustrated that her parents spend zero (in her eyes) time with her. I would try talking to her... tell her you've noticed she hasn't been listening often and that's not normal you wanted to know how she was feeling idk how close you two were before she started acting like this

yes she listens to him..we do a lot with the kids..he does work crappy hours that he's not at home very long..at her moms house she runs the show..i just dont know what to do
